Free in Cleveland: The Cleveland Zoo

Many people know this, but some may not.  The Cleveland Zoo is FREE on Mondays!  And, the Rainforest is available at a reduced rate!  This would be a fun unique date or outing with friends!

On Mondays, the Zoo (not including The RainForest) is FREE for residents of Cuyahoga County and Hinckley Township.* From Memorial Day through Labor Day, if Monday is an observed holiday, free Zoo admission applies on Tuesday instead. If you qualify for free Zoo-only admission on Mondays, tickets for The RainForest may be purchased at the following rates: Adults (12 and older) are $5.00, Children (2-11) are $3.00, and Children under 2 are free.

*To confirm your residency, bring your driver's license or state I.D. or a current utility bill with your Cuyahoga Cty. or Hinckley Twp. address along with a photo ID.

Review: Envy Salon

A few months ago I bought a Groupon for a shellac mani and a pedicure from Envy Salon in Rocky River.  I saved it until right before my cousin's wedding so I could have some extra pampering!  I feel horrible, I forget my nail technician's name but she was great.  Friendly, fast, and talented.  I hadn't had any sort of manicure since I was 13 and my last pedicure was about 10-11 months ago!  I couldn't have been happier.  Here is what my manicure looked like 3 full weeks after having it done... (I forgot to take a picture of my toes, but they held up very nicely.)

Other than growing out, they were PERFECT.  Now I'm a little addicted to the idea of having nice nails... I'd definitely recommend Envy Salon's Shellac manicures.  It is located in the Westwood Town Center near the movie theater!
